To rebuild the image of the tourism industry, the Egyptian authorities on November 15 announced the launch of the National Museum of the transformation plan, is expected to invest up to $ 4.3 million (about 26.21 million yuan).

said it will have 12 German experts went to Cairo for technical
assistance, the German cultural preservation fund and the International
Migration and Development Centre has given financial support.
Egyptian Antiquities Minister Mohammed Ibrahim said the move is intended to send a positive message to the world from Egypt. The past two years, due to the unrest, the Egyptian tourism industry was hit, the number of foreign tourists plummeted.
October 2013, the Egyptian tourism income is only 7 million Egyptian
pounds (about 6.19 million yuan), while revenue in October 2010,
compared with 111 million Egyptian pounds (about 98.23 million yuan).
